MEET BRITT & SAXON.
Britt Ballard - Host & Founder, Unsent
Britt is a mother, writer, filmmaker, host of Unsent live show and podcast, and co-founder of the new healing arts non profit Three Things with her husband, rap artist Old Man Saxon. She’s a trained End of Life Doula through Peaceful Presence, and she guides older adults through 3rd Act Life Review Interviews as part of her legacy work offerings. She makes music as Baby Luck (she's not a singer but she can sing!) and more music will be pouring out of her soon. She really loves hosting Unsent Show and is expanding the show in exciting ways, so stay tuned! She’s grappling with grief and freedom, so she's currently writing a film about a daughter whose mom asks her to help her die, and a TV series about a barber turned death doula that she pitched at SeriesFest Pitch-a-thon and won, amongst many other short stories and essays! She also writes The Overflow on Substack, which is her happy place. She’s going to write a book someday, or maybe she already is?
SAXON KINCY - PRODUCER, UNSENT
Old Man Saxon is a Denver-born rapper and storyteller whose work has appeared on Netflix’s Rhythm + Flow, HBO’s Silicon Valley, Netflix films Malcolm & Marie and Someone Great, Madden Football, Hightown, Black Lightning, and national Nike campaigns. He’s performed internationally and opened for artists like Lupe Fiasco, Ghostface Killah, Curren$y and more.
His career has taken him from being unhoused to becoming a rap professor, a husband, a father, and a working artist with a global audience. Across his projects, including The Perils, The Pursuit, Goldman Sax, Peacock Honey, Rothko’s, Chicken and Waffles, So Long and Sports!—he’s always focused on clear, honest storytelling.
As producer of Unsent, he brings that same focus to a show built around real people sharing real stories…the kind that stick with you.
